Hurricane Ike doesn't fight for his friends

It seems as though Northeast Ohio toke the aftermath of Hurricane Ike.

Here in Cleveland, my home is without power since yesterday (Sunday) night. While on our laptops, Koi and I noticed large, blue-ish sparks coming from the electrical line outside our window, and the lights went out.

The winds sounded terrifying, and down the street, we saw the powerline spark and fall. Atleast three people, including a boy, was killed in NE Ohio.

Officials say it may take days for the power to return.

Thank God for Nintendo! We used our DS Lite to navigate through our house in the dark. The super bright screen was a real life-saver.

Koi and I are using the Library right now to use their wi-fi. We had to do more work on our powerpoints for the Business Plan Competition.

Looks like we will be without power for awhile, guys. That means we can't do anything commission related that requires gluing, shaving or carving. All we can do is sew, sew, sew by hand. BY HAND. Gah.
